My name is Annakay W, and I am an experienced female carer with a passion for helping others live their lives to the fullest. With over 5 years of experience in the industry, I have had the privilege of working with clients who have a range of care needs, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound patients, mental health, Anxiety, EBD and Depression. I am well-versed in providing various forms of care, including live-in, hourly, and overnight shifts.
Although I do not have a car or the ability to drive, this has never hindered my ability to provide exceptional care to my clients. I am skilled in essential tasks such as bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. These skills enable me to support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity.
Outside of my care work, I enjoy indulging in various hobbies. I have a love for walking, dancing, card games, cooking and baking, as well as puzzles. These activities not only provide me with relaxation and mental stimulation but also allow me to engage with my clients on a personal level and foster a sense of companionship.
In addition to caring for people, I also have a soft spot for animals. I am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds, ensuring that their welfare and well-being are also taken care of.
My attributes as a carer include being caring, friendly, and helpful. I am committed to treating each client with respect, empathy, and kindness, and I strive to make a positive difference in their lives. Helping others lead independent lives is my motivation, and I am dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to all those I have the privilege of serving.
